LIEBSTER AWARD

I know I have been slacking so much with blogging recently and I really wish I had more time/ had more things to post but I've just been so busy with life blogging is one of the last things on my mind. However, (even though I'm two weeks late) the lovely Pretty Slick Chick awarded me with the Liebster Award! I've done a post on this before but I thought I'd do it again just for fun.

5. Let the bloggers know you nominated them
6. Give them eleven questions to answer
    Questions from Kim:

    Why did you start blogging?
I started blogging a long time ago with one of my friends, we were probably like 14 at the time when we started a blog together and I thought it was really fun and then started my own and then stopped and then started another one, which is this one. I don't really remember why I started to be honest.

Describe your style in three words:
Ohh. Okay. I'd say basic, casual but effortless at the same time.

What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
    YouTube. Definitely.

If your life were made into a movie, who would you cast to play you?
    Jennifer Lawrence duh

What do you like to do on the weekends?
I work on weekends, so the thing I like to do most on weekends is getting off of work, if you consider that a thing.

    Favorite tv show right now:
Teen Wolf, which is another guilty pleasure. And American Horror Story

    Heels or flats?
    Heels!

    What's your biggest pet peeve?
I have so many its unhealthy.

If you could travel back in time where/when would you go?
I think I would go back to my Freshman year of highschool and just re-do highschool. You all probably think I'm crazy.

What's on your shopping wish list right now?
Well, first, a nice leather jacket. And second,I really want to incorporate some funky pieces into my wardrobe, like a cool pair of shoes or a bomber jacket with a cool print.

Would you rather be a wizard or a super hero?
Well, I'm actually reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows right now so most definitely a wizard.

    Creativity and Chocolate
    June Fifty Six
    The Daily Lac

    City of Angels

Recently I took a road trip to Los Angeles to see what LA was all about. I have never been to L.A and since I've lived in California my whole life, I felt like it was kind of my duty to visit L.A. Another reason is because I recently turned 20, so I'm not a teenager obviously, and I'm looking to move in the near future and finish schooling. Originally I thought that L.A would be a good place to start because its only about a 6 hour drive from where I live now with my family. I was deciding between L.A and New York and I'm going to have to say that New York wins my heart. When I went in November I had such an amazing time and I didn't want to leave. Now, don't get me wrong I had fun in L.A of course but I just couldn't see myself living there.

L.A is a weird place and I find it odd that so many glamorous people live there, because most of L.A is far from glamorous. Parts of L.A are either really dirty or strangely perfect, there is no in between there. Driving everywhere is the other down side, and the traffic is not too fun. There are some cool streets to walk down and some nice shops and good places to eat, but personally New York has was more personality. Here are just a few pictures from my trip, I didn't take too many pictures mostly because my camera is such a hassle to carry sometimes.

    Favorite Pins of The Month

Oh, hello! I know that I haven't posted in about cough cough...2 months... but I've been pretty busy these past two months with starting a new semester and all. I really wish that I had more time to blog, or that I would make more time to blog especially because one of my New Years resolutions was to blog more...which was in my last post. So I've been failing miserably. So because I haven't been blogging I've been really into Pinterest. Like more than I was before, so I've decided to do a post on some of my favorite pins this month, starting with Beyonce cause I mean...

    Hello 2014.

Hello! I actually can not believe that it is already 2014. I can remember last New Years like it was last month. Since it is the New Year I've decided to share some New Years resolutions for this year, well they aren't exactly resolutions I think, they are more like goals I'd like to accomplish with in 2014.
    1. I want to focus more on my blog and gain more followers and what not. I want more people to see what I do on here and share their thoughts with me. I basically want my blog to be the best it can be this year. I'd also like to do more outfit posts, and become brave enough to do them other places besides just my backyard...
    2. I want to be healthier. I know everybody says this every year, but this year I want to focus on eating better not necessarily working out everyday, just eating better is my main goal.
    3. I want to travel more, whether it be just down to San Francisco, which is just a 40 minute drive from where I live, or going back to New York again. I just want to see the world and experience different places. I would really love to go to Europe this year, but I don't think I have enough money to pull that off just yet.
Oh ya, and I got new hair! I got the urge to cut it and so I just kind of went for it and I'm very pleased with the way it turned out!
What are some of your resolutions for this year? Or goals?

    New York Pt.II

Because its coming down to the last week of the year I decided to finally put up the rest of the pictures of my trip to New York I took last month. These pictures are from our first day and our first stop was Central Park (and one from the subway station later that week), which we spent a decent amount of time in. I could have probably spent all day there, it was so amazing and peaceful, i'm dying to go back again.

I hope you all enjoyed this little post, and Merry Christmas!

    One Last Holiday Gift Guide

Hello again! So if you guys are anything like me when it comes to Christmas shopping, you tend to get all the big things at the beginning of December or end of November and then save the smaller things until the very end. Well thats typically how I do it. The stocking stuffers and small gifts are usually put off until the very last minute. However, today I was searching the internet on what I should get for some last minute gifts and here are a few things that caught my attention and that I will probably  consider getting during my last round of Christmas shopping. All of these items are small enough to be stocking stuffers but can also easily be given as gifts to close friends or family as well.
I hope you all enjoyed this little post and make sure to comment and follow!

    1. Airspun Powder: I bought this from CVS awhile back and have used almost all of it. I've had it for about a year now and its my favorite powder for oily skin, and lasts forever.
    2. Essie Hors D'oeuvres: I love this color because it looks different over any nail polish. Its more gold over dark colors and more silver over light colors.
    3. Philosophy Pomegranate Bubbly: This body wash smells amazing and its exfoliating with is another plus!
    4. C.O Bigelow Rose Salve: All I have to say about this product is that is rose salve, and it speaks for itself.
    5. Revlon Lash Potion: I recently bought this and have really been liking it. It doesn't clump and it stays on all day which is the equation for the perfect mascara.
    6. MAC Trace Gold: This is my second time buying this just because I think it gives the perfect amount of warmth to the skin without looking fake.
    7. MAC Rebel and Ruby Woo: These have been my two go to lipsticks and they seriously look good on everybody.
    8. The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Lotion: I bought this awhile ago instantly loved it. Tea Tree oil is one of my favorite things to use on my skin because its natural and doesn't make my skin even more red which is a plus.
    9. Fekkai Hair Protectant: I bought this at Ulta recently mostly because it was on sale and I'm so glad I did. It smells amazing and makes your hair super soft after using it.
    10. Clinique Even Better Foundation & Clinique Under Eye Concealer: I love Clinique face products mostly because they stay on all day and don't make me break out. These two products do a great job at doing both. And the under eye concealer doesn't crease so basically its a gift from the Gods.
    11. Real Techniques Expert Face Brush: My best friend gave this to me after she bought it and didn't like it. However, I use it everyday and now can't put my foundation on without it.
